(aka Sunday School & Small groups)
One of the primary purposes of growth groups is to provide an opportunity for you to be known, seen, and heard. This is in contrast to the ever-increasing isolation in our world. Intentionality is key. Planning and scheduling to consistently participate in growth groups will help guarantee spiritual growth and success. Meeting together, and involvement will occur more frequently as was the case in the early church (e.g., Acts 2:46-47; 20:20; Rom 12:13; 16:5). This makes it all the more possible to fulfill the “one- another(s)” of Scripture. Such as, exhorting one another daily (Hebrews 3:12-14), bearing one another’s burdens (Gal 6:2), and confessing our sins and praying for one another (James 5:16).

The God of Redemption in Scripture
Teacher: Jerry Morton Location: Building B
At a time when much of youth ministry is more activity and less ministry, more about fun than fruitfulness, youth will be learning the historic doctrines of the faith as pictured in the great narratives of the Old Testament. Each class allows the youth to look closely and thinking deeply about God’s eternal redemptive work through the power of the cross. This year focuses on the Old Testament.
Explore the Bible Study Series
Teacher Bill Rogers Location: Building A
In a culture starving for truth, God is calling us to do more than read His Word, He is calling us to know it and live it. That's why Explore the Bible provides book-by-book Bible studies for groups of adults, students, and kids. Each session takes participants deep into Scripture, revealing context essential to understanding the text's original intent, and promoting transformation through God's Word in everyday life.
Ephesians Verse by Verse
Teacher: Bobby Hanna Location: Building B
William Hendriksen calls Ephesians the “distilled essence of Christian religion.” "Paul has written nothing more profound than chapters 1 to 3 of Ephesians," writes A. T. Robertson. In this letter Paul sounds the depths of truth and reaches the heights. It is a letter written in the atmosphere of prayer. There is a peculiar and sustained loftiness in its teaching which has deeply impressed the greatest minds and has earned for it the title of the ‘Epistle of the Ascension.”
John’s Gospel in Focus
Teacher: Nathan Medlin Location: Building B
The Gospel of John was written to prove that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. As an eyewitness to the love and power displayed in the miracles of Jesus, John gives us an up-close and personal look at Christ's identity. He shows us that Jesus, though fully God, came in the flesh to distinctly and accurately reveal God, and that Christ is the source of eternal life to all who believe in him.
Bible Studies for LIFE
Teacher: Justin Thompson Location: Building B
Bible Studies for Life is designed to help your groups make disciples through in-depth Bible study that addresses real-life issues. This winter, study The Full Picture of Christmas, which looks at the birth of Christ from the perspective of different people in Scripture, and Engaging Culture in an Ever-Changing World, which discusses how to display to those around us the wonderful truth of God’s Word.
