Pastor/Elder

Justin was born and raised in West Virginia. In 2006 he put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. After moving to Summerville SC in 2013, with his talented wife Kim and four children, he took the next step in dedicating his life to serve God. He has often said, “However the Lord will let me serve, I will.” -And his life has been a testimony of just that. In 2017 Justin sensed God’s call into ministry and was ordained in July 2019. In September of 2019 Justin joined the ministry staff of North Trident Baptist Church.

Justin’s favorite verses are Romans 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

DEACONS

Dr David Smith became a member of North Trident in 1996 and started serving as a Deacon in 1998. His favorite verse is 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

I am married to my wife Fran. We have 4 children and 1 grandchild. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life while in the USAF in 1977. I have a BA in religion, a BS in biology and chemistry and an MD degree.

Bill Player became a member of NTBC in 2018 and started serving as a Deacon in 2019. His favorite Bible verse is Colossians 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

I am married to Marilyn for over 50 years, we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, a retired health physicist, retired from South Carolina Army National Guard and a corporate trainer for over 40 years. I enjoy teaching adult Bible studies. My favorite food is anything you prepare! My favorite dessert is banana pudding. My favorite sports teams are LA Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys and my favorite past time is NASCAR.
