Motto

In essentials agreement; In nonessentials liberty; in all things charity

Mission

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  (Matt. 28:19-20 NASB)

Manner

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity! (Ps. 133:1 NASB)

Methodology

"… upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." (Matt. 16:18-19 NASB)

Purpose

We exist for this purpose, to possess and communicate an unquenchable passion for the supremacy of the Lord Jesus Christ and the glory of God in all things.

Church

Being a church means we are “called out” to live lives that are distinctly different from the dominant culture of this world. This implies two things: 1) We are many believers made into one body through Christ’s redemptive work. Because we all belong to Christ therefore we all belong to each other. (1 Cor. 6:19-20) 2) The local church is to be a foreign embassy on the earth announcing and promoting Christ’s claim upon all people by declaring the glorious gospel of salvation in word and deed.

GOAL

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." (Rev. 7:9-10 NASB)

Hope

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Tit. 3:4-7 NASB)

Organization

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you would set in order what remains and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, namely, if any man is above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion. For the overseer must be above reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict. (Tit. 1:5-9 NASB)

Identity

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Gal. 3:27-28 NASB) The church is the body of Christ and every member is as valuable as ever other member, each dependent upon the others. We are not a social organization. We are a ministry, not a market—a people, not a product to be merchandised. Because we live real lives in a real world and deal with real struggles we need to be loved, seen, and forgiven by those with whom we live in relationship as we worship God together.
